Welcome Back F2

Let's take a look at F2’s first two weeks back at school after their period of Virtual Learning.

It has been such a thrill to welcome the children back into the classrooms, beaming with huge smiles and excitement. After weeks of quiet in the unit, suddenly, all the F2 areas were filled with exhilarating shrieks, infectious laughter and lots of conversation from everyone. All of the children engaged themselves in different activities in and around the F2 shared areas as soon as we opened the classroom doors to them. The role play areas have brought out the children’s amazing imaginations, fine-motor skills have been developed in our mark making areas, the water trays have allowed the children to explore capacity, children have worked together to build in our construction areas, and many stories have been shared. These past two weeks have been an amazing opportunity to reconnect with friends and teachers across the year group, and learn to work and play together again. It has been great to see the children adapt so well to the new routines we have introduced; the confidence they have shown has astounded us all.

We couldn’t be prouder or happier with our amazing group of children these past two weeks. Each and every child is a superstar! Well done, F2. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings!
