We got the music exam results back from the ABRSM and they were fantastic.
We had a 98% pass rate with 13 students gaining the highest mark of distinction and 16 gaining the second highest mark of merit.
We had almost double the number sitting exams from last year and we are very proud of all of them.
Richard Harrison gained an amazing score of 142 in his grade 1 violin which is the highest ABRSM grade I have ever seen awarded (it's out of 150).
Czewon Roh scored an amazing double distinction with distinctions in both his piano and violin exam.
Lots of staff sat a grade 1 challenge this year and all passed. A special mention for Charlotte Trout (cello), Catherine Brown (Trumpet) and Youngran Cho (Violin) who all passed with distinction!
We are extremely pleased that the ABRSM has now permanently included Slovakia on their countries list due to our school's involvement. A huge thank you to all the peripatetic teachers for making this possible and working so hard with their students to gain such great results.
