We will be holding a Parent Academy on 'The Importance of Hands-on, Practical Learning In Science' on Thursday 12th May 9:00 am-9:30 am in the Auditorium.
If you would like to know more about how we teach Science in the Primary School here at BISB, come along to this talk led by Mr Payn. We will look at some of the latest research into the positive impact practical lessons have on students’ learning and why hands-on learning is valued highly at our school. The event will be held in the Auditorium, a short walk inside the main building on the same level as the reception. We kindly ask you to wear a face mask in school.
After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to see this year’s Science Fair. Students have independently prepared their own experiments to share with others, giving you a chance to see the positive impact of this type of learning. The fair will run from 9:30 am -10:10 am in the auditorium.
