Beginning the Mission to Mars

The children in Year 4 & 5 have been hard at work this week with the beginning of their new IPC topic, ‘Mission to Mars’! For their entry point, Mr. Callaghan set the children some challenges; from exploring the different food groups, to various teamwork activities the children worked together to pass ‘trainee astronaut challenges’. They also looked at how an astronaut's fitness levels need to be in peak condition, so they took part in some fitness tasks. Under the beautiful blue Charlotte skies, it was a wonderful afternoon filled with lots of cheer.
