Poetry Celebration

We had a wonderful start on Thursday with our Primary Poetry Celebration. Each class performed a poem they had rehearsed together in school. We announced the winners from each class for the individual poem recitals on Wednesday. Well done to all of our winners and runner ups for their incredible performances. Another huge thanks to all the children in Primary for working hard on their poems. It was a fantastic effort and they made choosing winners very difficult! Learning poetry to perform is part of our English curriculum from Years 1-6 and each year we thoroughly enjoy coming together to celebrate this learning!
