Mr. Lota
David Lota is an experienced educator from Chicago with over 10 years of teaching experience. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Indiana University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education in Social Sciences from DePaul University. Throughout his time at BISC-SL, he has coached track & field, cross country, and middle school girls' basketball while also leading extracurricular activities in Debate and Film. David emphasizes critical thinking, a growth mindset, and a lifelong love of learning in teaching History, Civics, and Psychology.
