Ms. Carbery
Sara has been working in education for the past 10 years. She taught in the UK for nine years in Yorkshire & Berkshire before relocating to Chicago this year, where she is delighted to now be teaching at a school that holds special significance for her – a school where she completed part of her teaching practice when it first opened in 2015. Her classroom practice is centered on developing and encouraging student confidence and resilience. She strives to create a warm, nurturing environment where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to take risks in their learning. Sara strongly believes that when students feel safe and valued, they are able to thrive and develop a genuine love for the subject.
