Tanzania Dress-up Day fundraiser for the Kiwawa school On Friday 6 November, all students at BISS Puxi had the opportunity to dress up in animal costumes, safari-themed clothes, or Tanzania flag colours to fundraise for the charity Seeway Tanzania.

This year the Global Campus Tanzania Expedition cannot take place due to the current travelling regulations in the fight against Covid-19. However, students in the Change Campaigners ECA still wanted to contribute, as we have been doing the past years, and support Article 28 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. The money donated will go towards building materials to finish the Kiwawa school so that children in the neighbouring area can receive a good quality education.

It’s great to be back. The school is starting to feel like the BISS Puxi of August 2019, before all of the quarantine and supervision rules and staggered leaving times. It has been a long summer with many people working hard to ensure the school has taken all of the necessary steps to ensure we were able to open again safely.
