BISS' IGCSE Mathematics students hit high results early!

BISS' IGCSE Mathematics - BISS IGCSE Mathematics Success

Recently, the school received excellent news as our Year 11 early entry IGCSE Mathematics students received their results from the November examination session. The outcomes were absolutely outstanding, with every student achieving a Grade 8 or Grade 9, and the majority securing the highest possible grade. These results reflect both the students’ commitment and the high level of support provided by their teacher.

These students are following an accelerated mathematics pathway, which now leads them on to Further Pure Mathematics. They will sit this examination in May or June, giving them the opportunity to engage with more advanced mathematical concepts and develop a strong foundation for future study, whether through A levels or the IB Diploma Programme.

Alongside this, we have many students who will take their standard IGCSE Mathematics examinations in May, and they too are on track to achieve excellent results. We recognise that students learn at different paces, and both pathways are designed to ensure that every learner has the potential to move on to Higher Level IB Mathematics or Mathematics A level, as appropriate.

We extend our warm congratulations to our early entry students on these truly exceptional results, which provide an early boost to their IGCSE profile. These strong achievements will remain with them throughout their academic journey, and they should be rightly proud of what they have accomplished.
