Last Friday marked the start of a busy performing season for our Senior Choir. The students delighted a crowd of over 100 invited guests as they performed at the tree-lighting ceremony for the Intercontinental Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao NECC. Our choir was an integral part of the ceremony as they performed both traditional and more modern Christmas songs. Our choir members can be very proud of their performance.
Students in our choir work hard on their singing over the course of the year. As part of the ensemble, students aim to work on vocal technique, general musicianship and experience singing songs using languages from cultures around the world. They work together to create memorable musical experiences for themselves and their audience as well as having a lot of fun along the way.
We are looking forward to their next performance at the Winter Concert on 14 December!
