BSB SANLITUN UPPER KEY STAGE 2 CURRICULUM

In Upper Key Stage 2 at our international Primary School in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, our children follow the National Curriculum for England. Our curriculum is the perfect springboard to Secondary education, developing important qualities such as leadership, communication, and citizenship, while instilling the academic knowledge our Year 5 and 6 children need to succeed.

OUR UPPER KEY STAGE 2 CURRICULUM

In Years 5 and 6 at our Primary School in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, our Upper Key Stage 2 students focus on literacy, numeracy, science, ICT, and PSHE, following the National Curriculum for England. They also enjoy weekly PE and performing arts sessions. Our thematic, interdisciplinary approach to learning continues, as students explore cross-curricular projects that span history, geography, art, and design and technology.

Through our Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum, students also gain the skills to become inspirational role models to others. We ensure they develop the knowledge to achieve their goals and become confident global learners.

BECOMING GLOBAL CITIZENS

Global awareness is a strong focus of our Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum. Productions, residentials, excursions, and themed days are some of the ways our students get to explore the world.
