This week in Year 1, we continued our festive learning with a fun (and delicious!) activity - making our very own reindeer cookie pops! The children followed a simple sequence of steps to dip, decorate, and assemble their reindeer, using pretzels for antlers and chocolate buttons for the face. They absolutely loved bringing their creations to life, and it was wonderful to see their independence, focus, and creativity shine through.

Alongside the festive fun, this activity also supported key skills such as following instructions, fine-motor coordination, and talking about the steps in a process - all important parts of our Year 1 curriculum. The children were so proud of their finished reindeer, and as you can see from the photo, they turned out brilliantly!

A big thank you to our parents for your continued support, whether that’s helping us gather materials, chatting with your children about what they’ve been learning, or simply sharing in their excitement. These moments are even more special because of the partnership we have with you.
