What an exciting week it has been in Pre-Nursery! Our little ones have had so much fun exploring our topic, My Body. We’ve been learning about the outside and inside of our bodies, and the most fascinating part was discovering the journey of food through our bodies — and how every part helps us grow strong and healthy, just like our mum, dad and teachers! One of the children’s favourite activities was dancing with the wooden figures. They were so engaged, copying the movements straight away and showing their amazing energy and enthusiasm.
The highlight of the week was definitely our visit to the nurse station. The nurse was very kind in showing the children the tools she uses every day to help people. This sparked a wonderful discussion, with many of our little ones excitedly sharing that they want to be doctors or nurses when they grow up — so they can help others feel better!
Through all of these hands-on experiences, the children have been learning about their bodies, practising communication, and exploring through play — fully immersing themselves in the topic and following their own curiosity.
We are thrilled to see the children’s sense of wonder and growing confidence every day. Their excitement for learning and the joy they bring to every activity make each day in Pre-Nursery truly special!
