This term in Reception we are focusing on “Growing and Changing.”
The children have been busy little explorers, discovering how plants grow from tiny seeds into plants, and learning about life cycles through first-hand experiences.
One of the most magical moments was watching butterflies emerge from their cocoons, and watching ants build new tunnels every day in the ant farms. We have also been observing changes in the seasons, noticing how the world around us changes over time. In our science investigations, the children have explored changing states of matter, experimenting with materials and observing how they transform.
With so much still to discover, we are excited to see where their learning journey will lead next!
