Year 2 have absolutely loved designing and creating their own clay dragon eyes!

They began by sketching ideas, using different techniques to add detail and imaginative patterns. When sculpting, the children explored a range of clay skills including pinching, rolling and squashing, and used special tools to add fine details. Finally, they mixed colours and carefully applied paint to bring their dragon eyes to life. The children really enjoyed being creative, and each finished piece is wonderfully unique!
