Our students are able to sit not only amongst their peers but also their teachers, teaching assistants and the support staff who work within our school. It is a time that all members of our school community are able to come together and share what has been happening during their day.
Our food is freshly prepared on a daily basis by our catering team Chartwells in a purpose built kitchen on site. Menus are prepared with consultation from parents, students and school staff and we ensure they are healthy, balanced and appropriate for early years and primary aged students and their developmental needs.
As much as possible we aim to cater for all restricted diets including specific allergies and our kitchen staff are made aware of all our students with specific dietary requirements.
All students are made aware of the importance of hygiene, particularly at meal times and they are encouraged to wash their hands before entering the dining hall. There is also a hand sanitizer located at the entrance of the dining hall for students and adults to use.
