Emma is a dedicated educator who is passionate about inspiring her students to achieve their full potential. With a wide range of education and work experience in New Zealand, China and Japan, she brings a dynamic and innovative approach to teaching. Emma’s goal is to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel motivated to learn and develop their knowledge and skills. 

Emma holds both a Bachelor's Degree and a Graduate Diploma of Teaching from the University of Waikato in New Zealand, where she specialized in Primary Education. She has been teaching for over fourteen years and has experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and is continually adapting her teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of her students. Emma firmly believes in a student-centered approach to teaching. She recognizes the importance of fostering a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages open dialogue and active participation.

Emma is committed to providing differentiated instruction to cater to each student's learning style and needs. She values the balance between academic knowledge and the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills. Emma strives to instill a love for lifelong learning within her students, empowering them to become independent thinkers and active contributors to society.

Outside the classroom, Emma enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking and exploring nature trails. She believes that connecting with nature not only provides a refreshing break but also offers valuable opportunities for hands-on learning. Reading, photography, traveling and exploring new places with her family are her favorite things to do.
