This is a subject that is only taught to students who are in years 10-13. It helps students to understand the world they will enter after their studies.

It covers topics like finance, organisation structures, production, human resource management and marketing. Students will learn the theory that helps them to explain what is happening in the business world. As they grow in confidence, they will be able to suggest better approaches for a business to take in given scenarios. Whilst we do not make any claims that students will become billionaires after studying a business course, we do provide the knowledge that they will need to make more informed decisions and therefore be more likely to be successful entrepreneurs or great managers.

One of the important features of a business course is learning that success is not only measured by how much profit a business makes, but also by how well it treats its employees, the local community and the environment. This focus on business ethics is very important if we are to support our young learners in building a global community that respects both people and planet.

After studying Business, natural careers include starting your own business, becoming an Accountant, Management Consultant, Financial Analyst, Business Reporter and Marketing Manager to name just a few.
