Early Years Open Morning | Saturday 03 May
So, what's this race all about? From 5-10 May 5 2025, participants will embark on a 460-kilometre adventure around the stunning Issyk Kul Lake in Kyrgyzstan. Every day brings a new challenge, with stages ranging from 45 km to 90 km. The route primarily consists of road surfaces encircling Issyk Kul, the world's second-largest mountain lake, situated at altitudes ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 metres above sea level. Each stage has a time limit: 12 hours for stages one through five and 7 hours for the final stage. To support the runners, aid stations are strategically placed approximately every 20 kilometres along the course.
Mr Michael isn't just passionate about numbers; he's also deeply committed to pushing his physical limits. Until now, the longest distance Michael has run in a single race is 200 km, which he completed during Tashkent’s Backyard Ultra in 2024. The Issyk Kul Six-Day Challenge will be his most ambitious and demanding test yet – pushing him to cover more than double that distance in less than a week. His hard work and dedication reflect the enthusiasm he brings to his classroom every day.
