Anti-Bullying Week – Zero Tolerance This term across Primary, all children took part in our Anti-Bullying Week campaign to help create a safer learning environment, where everyone can feel secure and welcome.

This term across Primary, all children took part in our Anti-Bullying Week campaign to help create a safer learning environment, where everyone can feel secure and welcome.

The students learnt that when bullying occurs, even if you are not the bully you should not assist or be a by-stander. By understanding their roles and responsibilities, students learnt how to use their voices in a positive way, to be an up-stander, and know that all the grown-ups around them are there to help. On Kalandar Campus, the children got together in their houses, and through drama, they worked together to role-play different scenarios. On Sayram Campus, the main message of the week was to "Be Kind". The children made pictures and posters that fitted together like jig-saw puzzle pieces, which helped them to understand where and how, we all fit into the bigger picture. At the end of the week, we came together in our houses and talked about what we had learned. The students wrote anti-bullying messages and promises to create a whole-campus paper chain, which is on display in Sayram Reception.
