BST Swimming Gala Swimmers from all of Nord Anglia Education's (NAE) international schools entered the pool for the first time in many months, coming together as a global community of athletes.

Swimmers from all of Nord Anglia Education's (NAE) international schools entered the pool for the first time in many months, coming together as a global community of athletes.

Swimming Galas are complicated events that require a lot of structure. With COVID-19 measures in place they can become even more complicated. A comprehensive events list was drawn up that included swimmers from year 4 to 12 with competitions involving all four strokes.

The students were all very well organised, arriving on time to their events and competing strongly with each other and the NAE global community. Many new school records were set, but a special mention has to go to Saidabror in Year 10 and Luo La in Year 5 who posted outstanding times in their events (records that will stay for quite some time!).

Sports focus now moves onto Basketball as all Lions' teams enter season 2.
