Olympic Heroes at BST

At the culmination of anti-bullying week at BST we invited special guests to talk about their experiences. Our Primary and Secondary students were excited and inspired by Olympiads Bakhodir Jalolov (Professional Boxer and Gold Medalist from 2019 World Championships and 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics #tokyo2020), Ulugbek Rashitov (Taekwondo Practitioner and Gold Medalist from the 2019 Military World Games in Wuhan and 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics) and Para Olympiads Bobirjon Omonov (Shot Putter and Gold Medalist at 2020 Tokyo Summer Paralympics) and Ruza Kuzieva (Powerlifter and Silver Medalist at the 2019 World Para Powerlifting Championships and 2020 Tokyo Summer Paralympics). Our distinguished guests spoke about how our differences make us unique, what inspired and challenged them, not to be afraid of taking risks, using failure as a motivator to excel and the importance of embracing each others different strengths and weaknesses for a united family and community. Thank you to our heroes for visiting the school and we hope BST produces many such future heroes that can make Uzbekistan proud.
