Christmas Concert

Christmas Concert Following on from the primary Winter Wonderland Concert, parents and friends were treated to more live music at the Christmas Concert on Friday 10 December with performances by all the newly formed school ensembles. The Primary Choir, Secondary Choir, Community Choir, Funkadelic Orchestra and Ukulele Club all performed along with a selection of soloists, duets and poetry readings.

Following on from the primary Winter Wonderland Concert, parents and friends were treated to more live music at the Christmas Concert on Friday 10 December with performances by all the newly formed school ensembles. The Primary Choir, Secondary Choir, Community Choir, Funkadelic Orchestra and Ukulele Club all performed along with a selection of soloists, duets and poetry readings. All I Want for Christmas is You, Troika, Run Rudolph Run and Last Christmas were among the pieces performed.

A visit from Santa Claus
The children at BST had a wonderful surprise last week! A visit from Santa Claus. While his reindeer were eating carrots and having a rest in the playground Santa met with every boy and girl. The children sang Christmas songs and enjoyed listening to a Christmas story. As all the girls and boys had been good this year, they all received a present from him. Thank you Santa for making a stop at BST, please come back next year!

Year 2 - Everyday Materials
Year 2 - Everyday Materials The Year 2 students took part in master classes last week. With experienced tutors, they made pottery and soap. They learnt what everyday objects are made from and how some materials can change state. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience and the students particularly enjoyed using the potter's wheel!
