BST Students Excel At Fencing On The International Stage

The British School of Tashkent are proud of two of our students who won accolades in Fencing. Their superb performance on the National Level helped them gain entry into competitive camps in New York and Boston where they represented Uzbekistan. We are extremely happy to report that in these camps our Year 9 student Saidbilol achieved 1st place and our Year 8 student Saidibrokhim achieved 3rd place. They both also got an opportunity to meet their role models – USA Olympians in Fencing. Our students trained with fencing coaches at Harvard University to acquire better skills and techniques, learnt about the Harvard Fencing Programme, and attended lectures delivered by Harvard fencing coaches and USA fencing Olympians.

We are delighted for them and their success, they both have made BST and Uzbekistan proud.
