LIFE-CHANGING ADVENTURES
A world of discovery and personal growth awaits your child.

MAKING MEMORABLE CHILDHOODS

No two days are ever the same at The British School Yangon. We create experiences that are simply one-of-a-kind, which transform how our students think, their approach to solving problems, and their confidence in applying what they know.

Our goal at BSY is to give our students a glimpse into all of life's possibilities. This way, they can approach learning with curiosity, confidence, and courage, no matter what comes their way. We’ll expand your child's unique understanding of the world, too, and nurture the skills and qualities they need to flourish – both now and in the future.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND RESILIENCE

STUDENT WELLBEING

At BSY, our students’ health, happiness, and wellbeing come first. We’ll make sure your child receives the specialist care and support they need to learn, grow, and fulfil their unique potential.

Our state-of-the-art facilities are open throughout the week and on weekends, so our families can safely enjoy a range of activities. We also run 'parent-in-partnership' seminars, which equip our families with the tools they need to look after their child’s wellbeing at home.

We encourage our students to take advantage of our sports facilities, too. Taking part in regular activity boosts emotional and physical wellbeing, and builds confidence, resilience, and a sense of fair play.

Innovative approaches – like our small-group tutor programme – also nurture our students’ social and emotional health. And on our Global Campus learning platform, your child will have access to a wealth of specialist resources.

OUR SOCIAL PURPOSE

CARING THAT DRIVES ACTION

At BSY, we empower our students to effect real change and make a positive impact on the world. We also offer a variety of immersive opportunities to make their voices heard in the international arena.

Through the Nord Anglia Student Advisory Board, our young leaders work with peers from other Nord Anglia schools to decide how to fund transformative social impact projects.

Students also consider how to apply the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals through our UNICEF collaboration. These activities give them a sense of social purpose from a young age, as well as creating lifelong memories and developing future-proofed skills.
