"Hà Nội collage" - an artwork by Huyen Tran (year 13) has entered the second round - top 30 artworks of the contest: "Ha Noi is..." organized by UNESCO.
𝐔𝐊𝐌𝐓 is one of the most famous mathematical competitions in the UK. It encourages mathematical reasoning, the precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
BVIS Hanoi held ‘World Book Day’ in Primary on today. Having staff and students dress up as their favorite book characters played only a small part in raising the profile of this important event which encourages children to engage with reading, stimulating their imaginations as they embark on adventures with their favorite protagonists.
During Term 1, BVIS Hanoi students were very active in community activities. Dedicating their time as a volunteer helps them make new friends, expand their network, and boost their socialskills.
I interviewed a young man yesterday, having discovered that he was the overall winner for the Year 6 to 9 category of the Vietnam National Spelling Bee Competition.
On December 3rd and 4th, BVIS Hanoi presented their fantastic Secondary production of ‘Seussical Jr.’ to an audience of about 600 people, comprised of staff, parents and students. School productions, often musicals and always performed in English, are annual activities from the school. Theatrical productions take place in all phases of the student body.
This year, due to social distancing, parents weren't able to come to school and see their child in the International Winter Festival's performances. However, we have put together these amazing renditions of songs from countries around the world and show them via the Facebook Livestream platform last week so that parents could enjoy them from anywhere.
