Summer School 2023 - Week 2 - Under the Sea (03 - 07/07/2023)

In PE, students had a lot of fun learning how to do trampoline tricks. They worked on their balance, coordination, and strength. 

In cooking class, students made cookies and decorated them with different icings and sprinkles. They were very creative with their designs and enjoyed packing them up to take home to share with their families.  

All our students have music and drama lessons with Mr Rhys. This week each class is learning some new songs and traditional drumming techniques. They are working on an exciting performance that they will present to parents and families at next week’s graduation ceremony!

Day trip to Kiwooza

Students from EYFS, ‘The Cheeky Monkeys’ and ‘The Roaring Lions’ Summer School groups had a fantastic day trip to visit the new Kiwooza play centre at Thiso Mall in D2. Everyone was very tired after a whole day of activity, so after a tasty meal in the café it was time to return to BVIS for a well-earned rest.

Field trip to Family Garden

The destination of last week's field trip was Family Garden located in Thao Dien, where our children had many exciting experiences with the team of artists from Vinspace. Each class worked on a piece of art in different styles, based on our eco themes of ‘land’ and ‘ocean’. The end products are very impressive murals that will be displayed for parents to enjoy!
