Safeguarding our Community Country Day School hosted Health & Safety and Child Safeguarding Training presented by Nord Anglia Heads of Child Safeguarding, Operations, and Health and Safety

Last week, Country Day School hosted Health & Safety and Child Safeguarding Training presented by Nord Anglia Heads of Child Safeguarding, Operations, and Health and Safety. The leadership team was happy to welcome members of the Nord Anglia schools of Brazil and Panama to join our Child Protection Team and other pertinent faculty members in this intensive training.

The training consisted of 2 full days of learning current best practices in the areas of School Health and Safety and Safeguarding Children. The training will continue, in a sense, as the Heads of NAE’s Operations and Health and Safety remains on campus throughout next week to evaluate the current status of health and safety best practices on our campus. We look forward to gaining insight into  solutions to various areas around campus as well as further understanding of what is currently known to be best practice in these areas.

We  encourage you to read through our Child Protection Policy so that you have a clear understanding of safeguarding responsibilities as they pertain to you and your family.

If you ever have any concerns regarding the safety of our students or safety on campus, please reach out to one of the Heads of  Child Protection: Keitsa Brisson, Early Childhood Principal or Karla Pennant in Human Resources. There is also a dedicated email where your concerns will be taken in complete privacy:  cds_child_protection@cds.ed.cr
