Jambo! Which is Swahili for “Hello!” We have had quite a week here at CDS as half of our Tanzania group has returned home with the experience of a lifetime under their belts and the other half just summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak on the African continent! Proud does not describe the feeling I have as Director of such an amazing and ambitious group of students. Our CDS students lead throughout our time in Tanzania and were the topic of many conversations with the NAE team and the expedition guides with respect to their leadership, their thoughtfulness, and their maturity. Our kids have established a reputation for excellence within our Global Community that will be built on for years to come. Great job, Team!! Poa!!
As well as sending students on global expeditions, this past weekend we celebrated our 40th annual CDS Family Fun Run sponsored by our incredible Parent Association, which was a smashing success. Thank you to all who came out to campus to participate and to all the parents who spent countless hours organizing and planning this amazing event.
It is incredible to think that we are already in March, a month that will see CDS hosting the Nord Anglia Education Junior Global Games, the school’s 60th anniversary, and hosting the Nord Anglia Regional Leadership Conference. We will be buzzing with activity this month and look forward to sharing this excitement with all of you!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
