Planning for the students' STEAM challenge On Wednesday, February 3, the first half-day of preparation for our STEAM FAIR challenge began. This year, the challenge, launched by Nord Anglia Education, will take our students to faraway places.

Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) play an invaluable part in helping your child to develop academic, social and personal success.

Through practical, hands-on problem solving, your child will develop transferable skills such as creativity, curiosity, resilience, resourcefulness, collaboration and confidence to help pave the way to a wide open future.

On Wednesday, February 3, the first half-day of preparation for our STEAM FAIR challenge began. This year, the challenge, launched by Nord Anglia Education, will take our students to faraway places.

NASA's Perseverance Mars rover will carry the first helicopter to the surface of Mars! In our STEAM project, our students will have to build a paper helicopter and carry out various tests to find out which model will be able to survive in a hostile environment.

During the preparation session, our students took the time to discover their challenge as well as to familiarise themselves with aeronautical and space vocabulary; a crucial step for the coming challenge.
