Gen Bêta: l'ère de l'IA et de la personnalisation est en marche!

Dear Champiteans,
Children born since 1 January 2025 belong to the Beta Generation, which succeeds the Alpha Generation.
For the record:
- 1946-1964: Baby Boomers.
- 1965-1980: Generation X.
- 1981-1996: Millenials: emergence of the Internet and the first mobile phones.
- 1997-2012: Generation Z: development of smartphones and social networks.
- 2013-2024: generation Alpha: emergence of AI and connected objects.
- 2025-2039: generation Beta: AI and automation will become an integral part of everyday life.
- 2040-2054: generation Gamma.
- 2055-2069: Delta generation.
These widely used categories were invented by American sociologists and an Australian demographer.
According to these experts, the characteristics of the Beta generation should be the blurring of the boundary between physical and digital modes, with the two interacting fluidly, and a high degree of personalisation (food, care, education). Long live wearable health devices and virtual reality environments! Forecasters seem optimistic about this generation's ability to step back from screens and social networks, using them more responsibly than their predecessors. In terms of education, the learning environment will encourage curiosity, well-being and inclusiveness. This generation will naturally adopt a global perspective to problems and a collaborative attitude to solving them. Finally, the Beta generation will have to redefine global sustainability standards.
