Join our next early years Open Day
At Collège Champittet, our annual Career Day gives students a valuable opportunity to meet professionals from diverse industries and explore their future goals. Open to students in grades 11 to 14, this event is especially useful for our learners who are in the process of choosing their pre-university and university pathways.
On 7 March 2025, our students spent a full morning attending presentations, asking questions and discovering different careers in fields such as business, engineering, medicine, sports, arts, life sciences, hospitality and law. Our Career Day welcomed more than 30 professionals, who kindly shared their experiences to help our students understand what their jobs are really like and the (often non-linear) paths they took to get there.
From CEOs and entrepreneurs to interdisciplinary experts on negotiation and psychology, our guest speakers brought a wide range of perspectives and insights. One of the main takeaways for our students was to keep an open mind, as 13th-grader Krisyan said: “A tip that I really liked was to always be curious. Learn, be open to new ideas, new professions, and make the most of every opportunity.” 12th-grader Lilia agreed, “You have to be open-minded to new possibilities. It’s not always a straight path to your goal. You can always change and take different options.”
Whether asking about the best education choices for specific careers or simply wanting to know more about salaries, our Champittet students demonstrated their curiosity and eagerness to learn and came away from Career Day with fresh inspiration for the future.
As always, it’s the excellent organisation and teamwork among our wonderful Champittet family that makes Career Day a success. Many thanks to our amazing parents and alumni for sharing their experiences and expertise, and to the ongoing collaboration between our Parents’ Association (APEC), our school’s Career and University Guidance and Human Resources teams, and our alumni community!
We are proud to announce that Collège Champittet has once again been ranked among the 100 leading private schools in the world by the Spear’s Schools Index!
At Collège Champittet, our culture of lifelong learning includes our teachers just as much as our students. Learning doesn’t stop when we leave the classroom or when the school day ends.
On 15 March 2025, music lovers at Collège Champittet were treated to an exceptional concert by Franco-Italian mezzo-soprano Lea Desandre and French lutenist Thomas Dunford.
