Another early start for the Dover Fins with the first race at 8am!
A squad of experienced and `newbies` competed in the huge (641 swimmers) Junior ACSIS Meet.
A great morning of races with lots of `pbs` being broken.
Kate Lee finished in 3rd place (bronze medal) overall in the 25m Butterfly in a time of 20.96secs. She also finished in 11th place for the 50m Freestyle. Elaine Jumedi was 13th in the same event for the 10-11 yr category. Martha Surgenor was placed 13th in the 100m IM whilst her brother & Haruto were 20th & 18th respectavily. A special mention must go to Evie Roesson who by 9.45am had completed a total of 100m Butterfly. All the relay teams finished with no disqualifications- yiphee!
A great fun day of swimming & learning about swim meetings. Well done every one. Thanks to all the parents, swimmers & , finally, to Mrs Surgenor for her help with the marshalling on the day.
