DCIS would like to congratulate our students who, with the support of the School staff and their families, achieved a splendid set of IGCSE results

As the new school year begins, we would like to highlight and congratulate our students on their wonderful IGCSE results.

IGCSE external examination results are just one of the performance indicators we use, and we are very pleased with the outcomes for our Year 11 students as they move on to the next stage of their educational journey. Some of the highlights are listed below:

  • English Language: 88% A* - C
  • Mathematics: 83% A* - C
  • Geography: 83% A* - C
  • History: 100% A* - C
  • Global Citizenship: 86% A* - C

We are also incredibly proud to announce that DCIS students have been officially recognised by Edexcel for accomplishing the following:

  • IGCSE Physics – Highest Mark in Singapore
  • IGCSE Geography – Highest Mark in Singapore
  • IGCSE Mathematics B – Highest Mark in Singapore

Internationally respected, the General Certificates of Secondary Education (GCSE) and International General Certificates of Secondary Education (IGCSE) are one of the most academically challenging courses currently on offer to 14-16 year old students worldwide. The full two-year program features a combination of coursework and exam work. Students will generally take ten courses and upon passing are awarded qualifications in a full range of core subjects including languages, sciences, humanities, social sciences, arts and design and mathematics.

Top universities around the world look to these qualifications as an extra benchmark of performance when considering applications.

"We received our IGCSE results last week. We are very pleased with the results our students have achieved and are proud that the efforts they have made, guided by their teachers, have been rewarded so well. We look forward to seeing how they now use these results to succeed in the next phase of their academic careers," Mr. Christopher Short, Principal of Dover Court International School said.

We would also like to congratulate our teachers for another exceptional year. Your commitment to our students and school are evident in these high-reaching academic results. On behalf of the parents and school, we would like to extend our thanks for always challenging our students to achieve more than what they could have thought possible.
