On Friday students from Year 8 and Year 9 presented an assembly on their experiences whilst away on their trip to Laos in February. Students took turns to share stories about each of the activities that they took part in.

Mehr and Jared (Year 9C) spoke about the base camp, Pak Ou Caves, Mount Phousi and the night market. Maylis and Taiyo (Year 9C) talked about the morning alms, the waterfall excursion and the moon bear sanctuary. Millie and Maddie (Year 8D) shared their experiences during the service work they did in a local Laos village, where they helped to build part of a new school.

Finally, Alex and Lucia (Year 9/10I and Year 8DSE) discussed their favourite parts of the trip, including Alex and his new found fondness for kayaking and Lucia and shopping in the night market.

The students' stories were accompanied by a variety of photos from the trip to further enhance their tales.
