After a very hearty breakfast, students had a chance to design and create carnival attractions as part of an activity based on the iconic and enormously popular course at MIT, 2.009

2.009 (AKA Product Engineering Processes, lead by Professor David Wallace) is a rigorous class for undergraduates in the Mechanical Engineering program at MIT, bringing together everything students have learned along the way to develop a market-ready product together with a team of classmates.

After a welcome from Professor Wallace about the importance of innovation and having fun while designing, students were split into teams and embarked on the design process, brainstorming their ideas first and then putting them into production. The finished products were a resounding success and everyone had a great time trying them out. Kudos to all students as they demonstrated the true power of teamwork across the board. [VIDEO]
