Year 8 Turn Their Own Faces into Works of Art! Year 8 definitely enjoyed their image transformations whilst investigating photography approaches around the concept of ‘Distortion’

Ever wondered what it would be like to have Angelina Jolie’s lips or Mylie Cyrus’ eyes?

Well, Year 8s who are currently experimenting with the concept of ‘Distortion’, got busy with investigating the technique of photographers  Bruno Metra and Laurence Jeanson  who use their playful work to tackle the issues of ‘self image’. Our Students cut up  the faces of many celebrities including Marylin Monroe, the Queen and even Micheal Jackson to turn their own faces into works of art!

Miss K even had a go!
