Last week during a teacher training session the staff worked together to create a new invention based on a very pressing problem in school.
On Monday 2nd October the DCIS staff were presented with a STEAM challenge. All teaching staff worked together to create a new invention based on a very pressing problem in school. They had to create an alert to let them know if Mr. Short was in the vicinity!
The teams had limited materials to create their solution using their Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths skills. As part of the session, they were shown the challenges that have been set by MIT for the children to engage with over the next year. Stay tuned for more STEAM events coming soon.
