During book week, parents were not left out as Stephanie Suga Chen, the author of the novel, Travails of a Trailing Spouse joined us for an author meet and greet coffee morning in the DCIS Café.
Travails of a Trailing Spouse was published by the Straits Times Press and also debuted at No. 2 on the Straits Times bestseller list.
It was quite insightful as she shared her journey to becoming a writer with our group of enthusiastic parents as well as reading snippets from the book and giving answers to some very interesting questions, while keeping a little bit of mystery for those who are yet to read the novel.
A big thanks to all who showed up to encourage the writer and also those who purchased the book, it is quite an interesting read.
