The IB Diploma Programme students investigated some amazing primary rainforest and then a freshwater environment. It was very interesting to see how growing tourism on the island is affecting the natural ecosystems. Our camp was on the beach and great for watching sunsets after a long day in the field, with the three resident kittens being great company. We also managed to fit in a night walk and some great snorkelling, seeing a sea turtle, a giant clam and a black tipped reef shark! All the students worked hard, making it an educational, fun and very successful trip.
