Dover Court welcomed Donna Costello, dance curriculum specialist from Juilliard last week.
Donna Costello is a dance artist based in Brooklyn. She has worked with a multitude of choreographers, dancing in diverse settings like public parks, landmark buildings, alleys and warehouses. She has also taught for leading cultural institutions in NYC for over 20 years and is a dance curriculum specialist for Juilliard's global program. Donna joined our dance specialist Ms Dodson in running a series of dance lessons and workshops over two days for our students. The visit served as the start of our collaboration with the dance aspect of Juilliard and was much appreciated by the children. Our students continuously impress us with their creativity and attainment and it was amazing to see how well they followed Donna. We are very excited to be welcoming Donna back for further workshops in March next year.
