Mandarin Lao Shi Day - DCIS Secondary Students as Mandarin Teachers

Yesterday, Mandarin students in Years 8 and 9 joined one of our Reception classes to buddy up and share their learning.

This term the Secondary Mandarin students have been working hard to create material for their Mandarin Lao Shi Day – their day as Mandarin teachers. The younger students enjoyed a video recording, board games, booklets and a variety of fun activities.

The Secondary students did brilliantly as teachers and it was fantastic to see the enthusiasm from the younger students and how much they learned from their older buddies.
