Building Character Through Sport

While the medals and results are impressive, what truly sets Dover Court students apart is their character. Throughout the Games, our students were recognised by organisers and peers as some of the most respectful, friendly, and supportive participants.

As Ellie Woodcock, Head of Primary PE, shared: “We are incredibly proud of the children, not only for their sporting success, but also for the way they represented Dover Court off the field. They were consistently recognised as some of the most sporting, friendly, and respectful students at the Games.”

This reflects Dover Court’s philosophy of developing well-rounded learners, where sport plays a key role in nurturing leadership, empathy, and perseverance. This success would not have been possible without the dedication of our coaching team, who provided expert preparation and constant support throughout the Games.

We are also incredibly grateful to our parent community, whose encouragement and presence in Thailand created a fantastic atmosphere for our athletes. The support of our DCIS Wolves families continues to play a vital role in student success.

Sport is an integral part of life at Dover Court. From Early Years through to Secondary School, students are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of physical activity while building skills that extend far beyond the playing field.

Opportunities like FOBISIA Games allow students to challenge themselves, work as a team and grow in confidence—experiences that stay with them well beyond Primary School.
