It has been an action-packed year in the Secondary School with many, many achievements across learning and enrichment, residentials, sports matches, performances, curriculum trips, service and events. These words really won’t capture the year accurately nor do justice to the exceptional commitment of our students, staff and parents.
We recognise that ‘the magic happens’ because of all the people in our community who want the school experience to be impactful and meaningful, and who put the best interests of students at the heart of decisions. Our culture of always focusing on and striving for ‘better’, of personalising the learning experience, and of supporting our young people to thrive is a fantastic collective endeavour. Thank you.
To all our students and families leaving us this year, we hope you will take great memories of your time at Dover Court with you and remain connected to the school and to each other. We also say goodbye to staff this week and thank them for their service; Rhona Chapman, Sue Charlesworth, Beth Clarke, Madeline Knight, Emily Johnston, Gavin Corr, Sandipan Chowdary, Simon Herbert, Jason Lunn, James Barlien, Eleanor Maloney and James Freeman. We look forward to welcoming new staff in August who are eager to join our community and meet our students.
We wish you all a wonderful holiday of rest, re-connection and adventure and look forward to welcoming you in the new term and academic year.
