With more than 250 questions sent to Ariel Ekblaw about living in space on the first part of our MIT Challenge, we are happy to launch the second part of this challenge today.
As MIT researchers look towards a future of space homes and interplanetary travel, they aren’t only thinking of science experiments and exploration. They’re also thinking about quality of life and bringing comforts of home to outer space.
For the second part of our Living in Space Challenge, Students have a week to imagine and plan a device to be used in the International Space Station - ISS to improve human experience away from Earth in one of the following areas: Food / Sports & Exercises / Art.
