Season 1 has officially finished and the Northbridge Nagas have had a great start to the year

Our first sports season at Northbridge International School Cambodia has included Swimming, Junior Basketball and Senior Volleyball. With over 120 athletes across these three programs many of our Nagas have participated in one sport already this year. Over the last three months team have trained every week in order to work towards their collective goals, due to the hard work of all these athletes season 1 has been a huge success.

Phnom Penh Plunge

Most recently the Northbridge swim team competed in the Phnom Penh Plunge, an international swim event here in the city. This two day event had many athletes swim multiple events most achieving brand new personal bests, especially in the long course events.

The Nagas brought home a huge number of medals but special recognition goes out to Natasia Escubil and Sovann Montross who both placed second overall in their age group. In addition to the personal wins the 15 and over group once again impressed winning the 400 IM mixed relay and the 400 freestyle relay.

Junior Basketball

The Junior Basketball teams also wrapped up a successful season overall the Junior boys were repeat champions of the local ISSAPP finals bringing home gold for the second year in a row. The boys worked hard and stayed focused leading up to ASAC and played at a high level ending in 3rd place.

Northbridge International School Cambodia - Basketball

The junior girls had a season of growth and improvement, they placed 6th in local finals and went to ASAC with a positive outlook. Throughout the tournament they reminded positive and worked their hardest, the girls ended in 5th place at ASAC.

Senior Volleyball

The Senior Volleyball teams both had strong seasons beating touch competitors throughout local season games and ASAC. The senior boys played connected and smart volleyball coming 3rd in the ISSAPP finals and taking 4th at ASAC in an impressive 3 set final.

The girls had an extremely strong regular season building energy and confidence as they went. The girls team placed 4th in ISSAPP and brought home bronze at ASAC in a high energy 3 set game. The girls B team also participated in ASAC this year and made it to plate finals, the girls played a great game and ended in 6th place.

We are looking forward to a successful second season which is already underway with Senior Basketball, Junior Football, Cross Country & Track as well as the continuation of Swim Team.
