Our private primary school curriculum offers the rigour and high standards of the Swiss education system, with our additional focus on preparing your child for life beyond the classroom. Through learning from our curriculum, culture and values, your child will acquire knowledge while also developing the respect for others and social skills needed to prepare them to be leaders and team players alike.
Subjects covered during our primary school years include Mathematics, Science, History, Literature and Languages.
Our teaching methods combine the finest traditional approaches to teaching complemented by modern techniques. This means that our approach blends new technologies such as the use of iPads for all children with proven teaching practices.
As part of Nord Anglia Education, all of our teaching staff participate in Nord Anglia University, a bespoke professional development platform for teachers, which ensures their familiarity with the latest thinking in educational instruction.
Starting at grade 4, instruction becomes bilingual, with some of your child’s classes in English and some in French. This helps them to develop language skills and a perspective which will serve them in a global context later in life. Focus is also on learning German.
Progression to secondary school
Our sister private school in Pully welcomes students up to age 18, offering three Diploma programmes: the Swiss Maturité, the French Baccalaureate and the International Baccalaureate. Our curriculum follows the same core curriculum as our sister school in Pully, thereby also preparing students well for any of the diploma programmes in later years and making the transition to our Pully campus an easy one to make.
Our students in Nyon also have the option to continue their education at our sister school La Côte International School in Aubonne where they can to prepare for their Swiss Maturité exam or pursue the International Baccalaureate.
