As part of the French class, one period per week was dedicated to this project which is a fun way to improve and practice spelling. Students connect to a platform and are given a series of sentences in which they must recognise the mistake. They receive a score for each series of sentences they complete. From mistakes students make the system recognises students’ weaknesses and can personalise exercises in order to optimise their progression. With an average progression of 30% over the course of a school year, Projet Voltaire is great learning tool. When school resumes in August, students will continue to work on their spelling using this programme.
