Conference: Which academic pathway should one choose?

On January 12th, Collège Champittet was pleased to welcome more than 100 parents, members of the Lausanne Accueil association, alumni and education professionals, all gathered to attend the presentations of qualified keynote speakers about the different degrees Champittet can offer and the academic opportunities that may follow.

  • Conférence : Quel diplôme choisir ?

Our director, Mr. de Korodi, opened the conference by describing the strengths of Collège Champittet: a Swiss school open to the world with over 110 years of tradition and values and a prestigious alumni network.

Mr. Lomenech, academic director, outlined the profiles corresponding to each degree: Swiss Maturité, French Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate.

Mrs. Cherubini, Mrs. Pujol and Mr. Sykes, respectively deans of the diplomas mentioned above, pursued with valuable information regarding the diploma of which each is the expert.

Daniela Cassini, guidance counselor, went on to focus on the different admissions criteria required to access the best universities in Switzerland and abroad.

At the end, three final year students, representing the three degrees, Flavie, Nina and Pierfederico, shared their experiences and answered participants' questions.

The lively conversations, on a theme that generated much interest among the audience, were continued with a delicious cocktail.
