The school administrators, teachers, and students have prepared for two years in getting the school MYP compliant. They have learned and developed Learner Profile traits and Approaches to Learning skills, G8 and G10 students have undertaken months long Community and Personal Projects, and the school has prepared inquiry-based, student driven curriculum to fit with the conceptual approach by the MYP.
Along with Nord Anglia, the IB will also evaluate the school on a regular basis to ensure Léman has an effective school environment and curriculum for its students. Additionally, G10 students will be required to complete the Personal Project to graduate out of the MYP programme. Congratulations to all those involved; this is a great step in the future of Léman and encourages our middle school students to “Be Ambitious”!
